Setting the ringtone on your phone

iPhone

With a computer: download the M4R file, connect your iPhone and drag the file onto it in Finder (Mac) or iTunes (Windows). It then shows up in Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone. Without a computer, open the file in GarageBand on your iPhone and use Share → Ringtone.

Android

Download the MP3, go to Settings → Sound → Phone ringtone and pick it. On some phones you tap "+" or "Add ringtone" first.

The ringtone guide walks through every step, including the exact menu names on each phone.

A few tips

Start just before the chorus, keep it between 20 and 30 seconds, and leave the fades on so it doesn't start or stop suddenly.
